Renee Sliva, DPM
Dr. Renee Sliva is a dedicated podiatric physician who connects clinical excellence with peak athletic performance. Her journey into medicine began on high school sports fields, where competing in varsity track, soccer, and lacrosse sparked a lifelong fascination with lower-extremity anatomy, injury prevention, and physical resilience.
She began her academic career at SUNY Binghamton, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology, before receiving her doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Sliva then completed comprehensive residency training at The Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY, and Parkway West Regional Medical Center in North Miami Beach, FL. Following her residency, she pursued an advanced specialization in tissue restoration, earning an initial Curative wound care certification focused on advanced tissue healing and complex limb preservation.
Today, Dr. Sliva is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. With over 25 years of private practice experience, she has integrated this exceptional clinical foundation with deep, trusted patient relationships to become the precise and compassionate physician she is today.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Sliva channels that same endurance and grit into marathon training, testing her limits on the asphalt while managing a demanding healthcare schedule. She believes the mental resilience cultivated during a 26.2-mile race directly enhances her patient care-teaching her to stay grounded, focus on the present milestone, and approach medicine with a holistic view of longevity.
